Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities:

Extract, clean, and preprocess large and complex datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.

Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to discover patterns, anomalies, and insights that can inform business decisions.

Develop, implement, and validate machine learning models (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time series) to solve business problems and predict future outcomes.

Design and execute A/B tests and other experimental designs to evaluate the impact of new features or strategies.

Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.

Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to identify analytical opportunities and integrate models into production systems.

Research and implement new data science methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance our analytical capabilities.

Document data pipelines, models, and analytical processes thoroughly.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

3-7 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.

Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and R.

Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Solid understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.

Proven experience with various machine learning algorithms and their practical applications.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, Matplotlib, Seaborn).

Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to approach complex challenges analytically.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
