Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire billing cycle, from invoice generation to payment application and reconciliation.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of billing specialists, fostering a high-performance and accurate work environment.
Develop, implement, and optimize billing policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, addressing discrepancies and resolving complex billing issues.
Collaborate with sales, finance, customer service, and legal teams to ensure accurate billing and resolve client queries.
Manage customer billing inquiries and disputes, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
Implement and manage billing software and systems, ensuring data integrity and effective use of technology.
Monitor key billing metrics, identify trends, and provide regular reports to senior management.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and internal audit requirements.
Participate in cross-functional projects related to system enhancements, process improvements, or new service launches impacting billing.
Train new team members and provide ongoing professional development for the billing team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
5-7 years of progressive experience in billing operations, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong understanding of the complete billing cycle, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles.
Proven experience with billing software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy.
Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex billing information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Proactive problem-solver with a customer-centric approach.
Familiarity with Philippine tax regulations and business practices is a plus.
